Well, it’s time for Washington State’s Primary Election, where the People of Washington State pick the two lucky folks (for each of several offices) who will be on our ballot in November.

I’ve abstained from previous primaries because they were pointless, having no impact on the November ballot to speak of, and requiring each voter to declare party affiliation to boot.

With Washington’s voter-mandated top-two primary now in effect, I’m actually going to vote in this one. I’m studying the candidates now, and I’ll let ya’all know about my picks when I make ’em. Just because I like ballot secrecy in theory doesn’t mean I don’t want to share. :P
